Welcome to the home of Dawa Media, a
Record Company dedicated to promoting and showcasing
the cream of Muslim talents.
Although the term "Record Company"
is a term used by us to describe the company, we are far from just a
record Company.
Dawa media was formed with the aim of
Providing positive Islamic entertainment primarily to the Muslim Community,
but the idea of appealing to the wider community has always been of paramount
importance, we have tried to do this using all forms of media.
The team at dawa media felt that for
too long we have had to put up with poorly organized events with the
most embarrassing entertainment itinerary, facilities and equipment provided
by well intentioned organizations that unfortunately, were more concerned
with financial incomings and outgoings, rather than with whether what
they was providing was value for money, or even artistically stimulating
for young people in the audience that are growing up in an ever influential
Western media market.
We have tried to redress this defiency
with a two pronged plan, firstly we have through our own personal experience
attempted to recruit what we consider top class entertainers, and lecturers,
individuals we felt had stimulated us personally. These individuals
are not only based in the UK, some have come from as far away as North
America. Secondly, we have started organizing, promoting, and hosting
events ourselves, as well as events, we have been facilitating Conferences,
and Workshops in Schools, Colleges, and Universities.
Dawa Media have for the past 3 years
been involved in organizing events throughout the UK, the events organized have
ranged from Educational lectures from renown scholars, to comedy evenings
featuring popular and upcoming Muslim comedians. In the main most of
these events have been very successful, and we have found ourselves

to providing Islamic entertainment that not only conforms to the guidelines
set out in the protocols all Muslims adhere to, but that also stimulates
the mind of those whose knowledge of Islam is limited. It is our desire
to contribute to a free, safe, and cohesive society where people of
all denomination and religion live together.
